Because my brother got a pair of the 2023 serious only players and he told me it was a tight fit on the sides and we went a half size up on his pair. I have a player 1 plus (lucky colorway) and game 1 (spider) had both for 3 months, played with them by switching after a game, since most game days are 2 to 3 games From what the player 1 2023 to the player 1 plus, first difference is the lacing, second is the toebox length, third is the traction and the outsole.
