The main issue imo is that franziska at least has somewhat of a reason (i.e Do we even know the second child is his daughter, strictly (i might just be thinking about this possibility because i remember that bit where the art designer for t&t made some concept art saying 'this could be von karma's son!' and takumi completely ignored it, haha.) but yeah. Franziska is a character that the series doesn't do justice
