I have this issue every time i try to use/login to mygov I called the support number 132307 and got the usual recorded wait messages for mygov but had a strange experience. It is so frustrating & totally unacceptable at any time, let alone 2025 when it has not been fixed for years

The main my.gov.au site is working fine but login.my.gov.au (161.146.235.204) is not returning anything
The original centrelink online account login details are now missing (probably thrown out) and forgotten But now with the mygov seemingly deactivated (?), what does that mean for the centrelink online account? Will the mygov app be updated to offer me the login option for myid so that the ato service can be reached successfully from mygov app? It looks like you may need to increase your identity strength in the myid app to meet the online access requirement

Here is a good article about how badly made and insecure mygov is You will need to create a mygovid (recently rebranded to myid) and verify your identity then link your mygovid to relationship authorisation manager (ram) and then you will be able to access the business portal (essentially mygov for your business).
