Ring spotlight cam + solar not working, reporting 208% phantom battery I'm having the same problem I have had a spotlight cam + solar panel up for a while (i think installed it last spring)
It was working great, charge was always topped off for the single battery i had in the camera
The camera itself was very protected from the elements as it was mounted to the underside of an overhang over our backporch (at least 7. I’m extremely disappointed in this setup and lack of plain, prominent, installation information that comes with the cam and solar panels. I've decided i won't be adding to my ring devices until the playing field is levelled up I don't want police or fire dispatch just having the alerts would be useful Will probably review my setup in the spring and possibly get rid of ring for one of its competitors if it's still the same
I found that there are 2 small spring loaded pins inside the unit that make contact with 2 screw terminal posts on the back casing
However, i noticed only one of the pins was extended.
