I dropped the pan, changed the filter and gasket and then replaced the pan Well after putting in the new clutch and bellhousing i tried to get the transmission in with absolutely no luck I put four qaurts dextron/mercron iii tranny fluid into it
Started motor, let it get hot, shifted through all gears and checked the fluid level.
This tranny is about 1 1/2 years old and probably doesn't have 1500 miles on the rebuild It is an '89 model I had it completely gone thru with the typical extra clutch packs, corvette servo, new reaction shield (?) and a transgo shift kit, etc It was built by the highest regarded.
